Basic / Beginner Fresh Water Fishing program for youths

GBFA is hosting a youth fishing program to interduce youths to basic recreational sport of freshwater fishing.  Youths need to be between the ages to 5 – 12 yrs old and accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian).  GBFA will supply the fishing poles, tackle box, and bait.  GBFA will supply fishing coaches from our club to teach safety, basic knots, hooks, line, and rod techniques for the first hour or two.  After the fishing class, youths are encouraged to start fishing around the pond, attended by their parent/guardian.  GBFA coaches will be available with bait and helpful fishing techniques.  There is no rain date for this event and the event is free to youths.  A (hotdog) lunch will be provided. Snacks and water will be provided as the youths leave for a round of fishing.  We encourage parents and guardians to take picture and submit to FishGBFA@gmail.com
